In 2025 the Food Data Collaboration are raising investment to take the project to the next stage. We are seeking equity investment to build the infrastructure that will enable us to launch in June 2026.

Historic Funding

The inital research, development and pilot work has been supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. This funding supported the project for three years, beginning 21st March 2022, totally just under £500,000.

During this time the Food Data Collaboration was fiscally hosted by the Open Food Network.
